Dunedin Curtain Bank

We helped to plant 4,014 trees and remove 914 tonnes of carbon. Our funding supported ten community tree planting projects. The Dunedin Curtain Bank up-cycles unwanted and unused curtains, lines them, and distributes them to those in need in our community. It saves huge amounts of material and plastic from landfill. Curtains make a significant difference to the warmth of a home. A third of all heat loss in an uninsulated home occurs through windows. New Zealand Oil & Gas proudly supported the curtain bank with funding of over $50,000 over three years.
